About the Job:
Opportunity Fund is seeking a Small Business Lending Marketing Associate. S/he will manage ongoing marketing projects and will design and produce marketing materials (email, print, and web) that support business development and sales efforts that yield small business loan applications. S/he will report to the marketing and communications director. The position is based in San Francisco, with regular travel to San Jose.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  •     Project management:
  •         Ensure timely deployment of ongoing marketing campaign materials;
  •         Measure and document results, prepare reports back to team.
  •     Direct marketing and graphic design:
  •         Create/design marketing media by defining audience, developing messages, and producing necessary collateral and/or assets to deliver the message in the determined medium (including, but not limited to email, print and web);
  •         Develop new marketing initiatives with demonstrated ROI to increase loan applications and savers;
  •         Successfully manage/prioritize requests from multiple people on small business team;
  •         Create and manage content for small business websites in English and Spanish;
  •         Collaborate with marketing and communications associate on cross‐functional initiatives, including interviews, photo, and video collection of clients;
  •         Successfully apply organization's brand and style guidelines.
  •     Marketing support:
  •         Manage mailings (in‐house of offsite);
  •         Update existing collateral on-the-fly;
  •         Respond to external inquiries for organization's brand assets;
  •         Monitor external application of organization's brand by third parties;
  •         Ensure legal compliance of all marketing materials.

Qualifications:
  •     Bachelor’s degree;
  •     Minimum 4 years work experience;
  •     Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  •     Demonstrated aptitude to learn new skills quickly;
  •     Excellent organization and attention to detail in a multi-tasking, fast environment;
  •     Superior writing and analytic skills;
  •     Basic video editing skills (iMovie);
  •     Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills;
  •     Advanced Photoshop skills;
  •     Microsoft Office suite proficiency;
  •     CMS database proficiency (Salesforce or other);
  •     Strong interviewing skills, cultural sensitivity, and awareness;
  •     Ability to work independently and initiate projects and ideas;
  •     Availability to work some evenings and occasional saturdays;
  •     Fluency in Spanish highly preferred;
  •     Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle a must (mileage reimbursed).
