Great American Financial Institution Services specializes in providing risk management, fee income and product enhancement programs to vehicle lenders and lessors, commercial equipment lenders and mortgage lenders throughout theU.S. and Canada. Target clients include commercial banks, credit unions, finance companies, buy-here pay-here dealers and leasing and rental concerns.


The job grade and title will depend on the successful applicant’s level of experience.
Responsibilities:

    Investigates and maintains Residential/Commercial Property Claims

  •         Secures and analyzes necessary information (i.e., reports, policies, appraisals, releases, statements, records or other documents) to assist in the investigation of claims.
  •     Ensures that claims handling is conducted in compliance with applicable statutes, regulations and other legal requirements, and that all applicable company procedures and policies are followed.
  •     Convey information (coverage, decision, outcomes, etc.) to all appropriate parties, maintaining a professional demeanor in all situations.
  •     Successfully completes all coursework/education as assigned.
  •     Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


    Bachelor's Degree  in liberal arts, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
    0-3 years of claims/insurance experience
    Secure adjuster license with-in 90 days of hire
    Proven skills in communication, customer service, detail orientation and organization
