CARE is seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist (CBS) to be a member of the
Compensation and Benefits team and become a key member in the Human Resources department at CARE. The Compensation and Benefits Specialist (CBS) reports to the Director of Global HR Services. The CBS's primary purpose is to assist in the development and implement all benefits programs. including insurance programs, retirement savings plans, retiree benefit plans, paid time off program, workers compensation and related programs.

Responsibilities

•     Assist in the development and implementation of CARE's benefit programs .
•     Assist in the administering compensation policies and practices subject to review of manager.
•     Provide customer service to US and International based staff as required.
•     Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, benefit and compensation policies and assist in grading jobs and evaluating job descriptions.
•     Update and maintain benefits brochures and materials.
•     Assist in setting up employee events such as on-site vendor visits, information meetings, health fair and 401k enrollment meetings.
•     Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions salary scales.

Required

    Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Business, Human Resources or closely related field
    2 years of professional experience in compensation and benefits or Human Resources and working with retirement packages, insurance and international/expatriate benefit planning
