About the Job:
A2F Consulting is seeking a Financial Analyst. S/he will contribute as team member or team leader to evaluations of financial institutions (banks and/or MFIs). The position is based in Bethesda, Maryland (USA) or Milan (Italy).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•     Carry-out or contribute to due diligence reviews and valuation exercises;
•     Proactively support business development including the regular review of procurement notices by international development agencies and preparation of project/investment proposals;
•     Knowledge management as well as training/coaching of junior team members.

Qualifications:

•     Graduate degree in Economics or Finance from a reputed university;
•     Preferably 2 - 5 years post-graduate work experience in finance with investment bank or similar entity;
•     Strong spreadsheet modeling and financial analysis skills (ideally for financial institutions);
•     Excellent analytical and conceptual skills;
•     Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines as team member as well as task manager;
•     Outstanding client management and interpersonal skills;
•     Working knowledge of at least one foreign language would be a plus;
•     Willingness to travel extensively and work in a multicultural environment;
•     Current work or residency permit for either the United States or Italy.
